First Taste Of LEGO Content

Through various social media platforms I've seen people sharing their photos of their builds as well as their collections of bricks. I figured I would do the same with my humble begging.

I will throw out right now that I am FAR from being an expert at any of this and I am still fairly new to the world of LEGO. Most of my collection comes from a few sets I've picked up at Walmart and Target.

With that beginning said I will be posting a few photos of what I've done so far. I will be mostly using the camera on my Google Pixel 2 XL so the quality will be nothing less than stunning while the content of the pictures themselves may be a bit lacking at first. None the leas, enjoy this first glimpse!

Let's Build - LEGO City - "Airport VIP Service"

Here is another build without a time-lapse video that I had done a long time ago. This depicts a successful business woman as she leaves her Limo and takes flight to her next business ventures.  This is set number 60102 (again, you can see it on the plates of the vehicle) and was 364 pieces altogether. I actually got a lot of leftover parts from this build and I'm hoping to use them elsewhere at some point. Overall, a very easy build but it did take a while to construct. I enjoyed that it depicted the successful person as a woman. Always nice to see the diversity in these LEGO sets.

Let's Build - LEGO Creator (3 in 1) - "Speed Boat"

Today I did another set build from the LEGO Creator set 31071. It has 109 pieces included in it and has 3 different ways to build. I started off with the Fighter Plane build and now I have moved onto the Speed Boat build. The spotlight and the giant fan on the back are easily my favorite part of this build. There were a few parts that I had actually never used before and it taught me a few ways to use them in the future.

Brixinit Box #1 - Unboxing and Review Video - May 2018

I finally took the plunge and ordered a 3-month subscription to the  Brixinit Box . I received this at the very beginning of May but I had not been able to open or review it because I've been swamped with work and gathering paperwork to buy our first house (there is so much involved with that, and working 3rd shift doesn't help!). So today I finally opened and reviewed the box so that newbies could see what all comes with the Brixinit Box. I was very pleased with everything that came with the box. It was a very simple and clean box without the extra bloat and "swag". This is for sure geared toward the older LEGO community members. That isn't to say that people of all ages wouldn't enjoy this box. I did a 3-month subscription which ran me about $87 for the Tier 1 box. There are different levels you may choose, but I kept it basic and simple the first time around. In the future, I am sure I will up my game when I have more free time and cash to spend (those ...
